A Taliban Leader debates Islam and Jihad with a Pakistan Army Officer

In this debate between a Pakistan Army officer and a Taliban leader, the Pakistan Army officer literally is begging the Taliban to take back their fatwa to kill Pakistan Army soldiers. While the Taliban speaks with calm confidence, the Pakistani reveals panic in his voice. This debate was broadcast right across Pakistan Army radio and on two-way handheld radio communication.

This is chilling. They actually take their murderous scripture seriously with absolute non-chalance.

    Dear Tarek,

Incredible! One track mind. Views that are held in absolute serene sincereity and in all earnest, nothing less would do; trapped in some fantastic fabrication of an ideal past that exists only in the man’s mind (a trait probably most typical of Taliban.) Jai is right on: Chilling, indeed. Sounds like this Talib is a Pathan, I recognize Pashto speaking fellow’s accent in Urdu, however most fluent in Arabic. I doubt very much fellow’s reading very much outside Islamiath. Singular, was it not the fellow’s hatred of the secular world. Typical it is for the Wahabbi/Salafists to take the scripture literally, therefore these sects are not consistent with freedom of conscience and with human dignity and values. Sooner we the citizens of the civilized world make a concerted effort to stamp out these religious sect the better it would be for us, for the world to have a peaceful coexistence. We must outlaw these “Death Cults” masquerading as religions. And, please enough, for God’s sake Islam is not religion of peace and any body who says otherwise ought to be declared unfit to hold any public office.

Bomb ’em to the Kingdom come, ground-zero: let the countdown begin, 10, 9, 8, 7,…, the seventy-two virgins await. I don’t know for whom do I feel more sorry for, tweedledum or tweedledee? Jahiliya is complete. “Khus kum Jihan Pak”. Hell-Fire Missiles would do very fine.

Keep up the good work. May God always keep you in His blessings.

    Sincerely,

    Asif
