While America expresses outrage at beheadings by ISIS, it has no problem if such beheadings are carried out in public by its trusted ally, Saudi Arabia.
In fact, ‘beheading’ is a noble profession for the chosen few in Saudi Arabia and are conducted as a public spectacle after Friday congregations. Here a passerby took amateur footage of foru beheadings in quick succession as the crowd bellowed out ‘Allah O Akbar’
Watch at your own risk.

Big difference between chipping a head off from the back is near instant death versus sawing a head off from the throat with a small knife.
It does not justify anything. It’s barbaric killing someone in public.
I am happy to see you are a muslim and you are against barbaric killing
Is it less barbaric to kill them in secret? It wouldn’t matter to the executed. He’ll be dead anyway.
A swift punishment with no suffering, unlike what happens in the western modern countries like the usa where they have a botched execution and the person suffers for up to 2 hours . I don’t see the point of this being criticised when the critisizer is worse off. http://www.theweek.co.uk/us/58333/botched-execution-why-us-has-turned-untried-drugs
then don’t do the crime… well obviously you know nothing about sharia law. are you a moslem ? do you read The Koran and Hadith?
you want real justice? let’s wait for yaumul hisab. if you’re not a moslem then every comment you have means nothing to us
Nobody care about sharia only you filthy beings. You love killings and cold blooded murders. That’s what Satan Allah thought you.
That’s right !
and we can’t do this to rapists or child molesters here?
This is too much. I prefer blown to a thousands pieces by a U.S. drone strike over this.
So…. the difference between Saudi Arabia and the Islamic State is….?
The leaders of the free world bow and scrape to one - and bomb the other?
Disturbing to see!
What crime did they do? And why not hanging? No one use beheading. No international campaigns?
why? sharia law.. you can ask google or read the Koran and Hadith yourself
I think these are no different from the taliban cutting throats of people. Its inhumane and against basic human rights. This type of capital punishment is unacceptable anyway and making it a public show makes it more ruthless. The Sauds just do this to instil fear among people. Countries like these give bad name to all Muslims in the world.
i guess by your name you are a moslem,, or not. so you mean that you ashamed of the Sharia Law ?
I know the point you are making with the juxtaposition of the two. I don’t have issues with capital punishment. The fanfare of beheadings for ISIS is political fanfare, where everyone not them gets to be executed. The Saudi Kingdom executes for some crimes that we in the west would consider an extreme punishment, an abomination to our modern notions of justice. Yet for some criminals and crimes, justice is barely spoken and the result is agreeable to the legal system, not justice. I do note that the executioner in the video was not cruel, he was very proficient. ISIS remains a dangerous militant force, the Saudi Kingdom is certainly less dangerous & an ally, not necessarily a friend.
Obviously the difference in condemnation of barbaric behaviour is who your allies are. Massive protests against capital punishment by hanging or lethal injection pale into insignificance alongside this medieval type of slaughter. But what can we expect from sub human regimes. People who still refuse to enter the 21st Century should never be allowed to rule over populations. Humanity evolves in some ways but regresses in others.
sick , bastards, I hope all the so called royals meet the same end at the hand of the people.
Since the beginning of time; the World is always changing. Some things for the better and some worse. Civilized peoples should address the human rights for all citizens. Study History. If you know the past you should want better for the future. Before the Am. Revolution, In the Colony of No. Carolina a slave on a plantation was found guilty by a jury of murdering his master in a corn field and he was tied to a stake (post)it was set on fire and the slave was burned alive. America has come a long way.
thank you for that history lesson. Do you know how old the Sharia Law is ? i guess you don’t and obviously you never knew this “barbaric beheading” is happening until you read this blog
The Saudi rulers are sick, and the western leaders who are sorry to see king Abdullah die are even sicker
I agree with some and half agree the the rest of the comments posted so far. As a non-Muslim and South African, I’m of the opinion that this kind of justice may well serve as a solution to what we are experiencing at this time. To name a few: crime against women and children, the ever increasing number of farm murders (normally old people), gang killing (where little children die in cross-fires)…in cases like these, if it ever goes to court or the perpetrators apprehended, the punishment is, at most times laughable. So, in my opinion all all arguments aside, the punishment ought to fit the crime…an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth…maybe, just maybe, if our societies are driven by real justice, this world will be a better place to live. Let us, therefore, not be so quick to judge…!
The disturbing aspect of these executions is that they occur in public. This will hardly place Saudi Arabia as a lead tourist mecca. Also, I doubt that few people, especially women, receive a fair trial in the Sharia court. A woman can be executed for protecting herself from a rapist or abusive husband and receives less consideration than a common dog.
Sharia Law coming to your neighbourhood this summer.
Death by electrocution, lethal injection, hanging, beheading - they are all the same.
We should mind our own business and look to our own borders.
What makes me laugh about all this is that Saudi Arabia is an ally and business partner of the Americans. Videos like this one will be swept under the carpet
