Khān Abdul Ghaffār Khan (6 February 1890 – 20 January 1988) also known as Bāchā Khān or Bādshāh Khān, was a Pushtun leader of the Indian independence movement. He was a political and spiritual leader known for his nonviolent opposition to the British Raj in British India, and a lifelong pacifist and devout Muslim. A close friend of Mahatma Gandhi, Bacha Khan has been called the “Frontier Gandhi” by his followers in India. The narration is in Hindi.

He was truly an Indian who believed in equality and peace for all. I am lucky to have uttered his name during the processions while following all the others in late 1940s.
