I saw your commentary on Sun News and want to thank you for explaining Islam and going tie to toe with Choudhary. He clearly despises Western ideology and it is clear to see he has no interest in being peaceful to those who chose other ideologies.
Thank you once again for representing Muslim’s. If more stood against the radical ideology it would be carried back to the 7th Century where it belongs.
I have come to the opinion that Islam is a religion of war - a medieval messy sort of religion born out of despair and revenge and carrying all the absurd superstitions and imposing more - and certainly it is not a religion of peace. That way every religion has a bundle of superstitions and harmful and revolting customs and practices, but this religion is the worst of all. Whatever be the contrary practice, we find prophets and preachers of Buddhism, Christianity and Hinduism advocating peace, non-violence and kindness and compassion but Islam seems to be directly opposite to these virtues. It preaches retaliation and vengeance and suppression of contrary or other faiths.
Anjum Chaudhary is a more honest bigot as opposed to Tarek whose bigotry is more camouflaged.
Right until the mid 2000’s Tarek was deadly opposed to Israel and then flipped his views on that. He claims to be a progressive but still maintains the typical bigotry against shiites and their respected figures like the Holy Prophet’s uncle, Hazrat Abu Talib. He chides other South Asian muslims on their “arab-sounding names” but still maintains his own which is the name of a typical arab looter and pillager.
Seems these days Tarek might be back on the take from Saudi Arabia. He never bothered to contradict Anjum Chaudhary’s lies on ISIS because as late as last year, he was actively supporting the FSA which has now more morphed into isis. He never questioned chaudhary on his anti shia and anti ahmedi views either.
Why they bring a stupid like Anjem Choudary , why they give him so importance ?
They should send him to টবড Muslim World , where he belongs …

Islam is not a religion of peace, go and read it, it is now available in every language. It is not even a religion, it is a political ideology. It aims to establish a world of their own. Rest of the world is enemy to them. All other religion had undergone revision, except Islam. Many of those moderate Muslims who don’t subscribe to radical political Islam, they are also fundamentalist in their core, because they don’t want to revise their holy book. So they are one who foster these radicals in among them, just visit any Friday prayer khutba.. you will see how intolerant they are, go to a Muslim country, find out what is happening to other religious minorities. The answer in blowing in the wind….
This one is worth watching because you were present in the interview. As the host said, me too had the same thought on how Anjem Chowdary would unleash himself in the interview.
Islamic preachers around the world aren’t actually different on the point of defending Islam at any case. And when there is a sub-topic like freedom of speech, gender equality their true nature reveals out. Their stand becomes slippery. Anjem did the same thing here. He didn’t answer the questions directly. The lady gave him more time than you (Tarek), but he blamed her for not giving him enough time! This is the nature of Islamic preachers like him. And telling lie is not a sin if you use it to defend Islam. So anything they do for Islam, is good in the eye of Islam.
The good thing is that civilized people around the globe are becoming aware of religious hypocrites like Anjem Chowdary.
I do support Tarek Fatah’s point of view. Cleric Anjum Choudhry seems to be a bigot of all time, failing to concede that the Paris attack was a terrorist attack. People like him, whishing to establish Sharia laws, are day dreaming.
He should go back to his country of origin and establish a true Islamic State first that is a pre-requisite for establishing Sharia laws and there is no true Islamic state on this planet. Hence his dream to establish sharia laws, everywhere in the world is redundant, misleading and will never materialize for ages as it is not compatible with the Western Societies. As charity begins at home, he should establish sharia laws in Muslim country first before disturbing the peace of the world.
He did not have courage to accept that Paris Attacks were terrorists attacks by followers of radical Islam, instigated by Extremist Islamic groups. There are many around us, having same mentality. I do not endorse the past of Charlie Hebdo , who wrongfully insulted followers of Islam but I also condemn a violet response to criticism by killing people.
It is inconceivable to know, as he indicated during interview that Prophet of Islam had advised the followers to kill anyone who desecrate and insult him, contrary to Muslim’s claim that Islam stands for submission to God, peace and there is no compulsion in it? This ridicules Islam and its followers.

1st of all.. your freedom stop where my Nose begin.. No matter what… killing innocent human is highly condemnable whether they were killed in France or in Iraq
2nd world got to learn a difference between freedom of speech and provocation. To respect British People sentiment, If his Majesty Prince Harry can be penalised and force to apologise wearing Nazi Uniform (in fancy dress party) then those Journalist should be penalised and made apologise who are provoking Muslim’s sentiments in European Media.
3rd I never supported Anjum Ch’s Idea of Imposing Sharia Law in Britain or any other None Muslim countries because it should be a Majority’s choice not a wish of a group.. but I have to say Tarek Fatah and the anchorperson have put up very weak case and both played in Anjum’s hand as he wanted them too.. even Gang of two could not handle one Ch he proved anchorperson a complete stooge.

2. that´s where the charade of having Muslims in the West comes to light…Muslims just don´t understand or don´t want to understand the principle of Freedom of Speech. That´s the reason we allow clowns like this Anjem guy, so he can expose himself and people can understand his mindset and preferably have a laughter..If you are going to take your apology stance…wow, if Muslims were to apologise for every offense, attack and killing of Christians around the Globe, they would spend the remaining days of their lives on their knees doing so,,,guess what? They don´t do it…there will always be some sort of excuse…
3. Sharia - not in a million years! You send shivers down my spine when you say majority…that is the main reason I don´t agree with Muslims in the West. They can eventually overcome us, Westerners, on numbers then we will be doomed…
Once again the central issue in Arab and or Muslim thinking is the culture of Honor and Humiliation.
Why did the Muslim men kill the cartoonists? Honor.
They felt so humiliated by the depiction of Mohammed that for the honor of the prophet they felt impelled to murder people.
Why do Muslim men kill their mothers, wives, sisters and daughters? Again Honor. Once one of their women has humiliated and dishonored the family, it is imperative that the men kill the woman for the sake of his and their family’s honor.
Chaudhary speaks of honor, always of Muslim honor. Sadly Muslim honor does not take into account the honor of others, but only seeks to humiliate and through the act of humiliating comes honor.
Sad but true.
