    @panel discussion in IBM 7.
    Somehow I didn’t like the anchoring by Sumit Awasthi. Except for initial part Tarek Fatah was kept out in discussion. Sumit kept on harping the issue of Bihar results’s impact in Pakistani media. Just because some passing references were made in the heat of election campaign. Other panelists got annoyed and one lady left in between. It showed poorly on the skills of keeping the topic relevant and interesting. It was expected that Pakistan side representatives will counter Tarek’s line of thinking. But Tarek didn’t get chance to put his line of arguments. In fact he was cut off badly whenever he tried to get in.
    This was Tarek special episode. More focused discussion on his views on Indian Muslim, their aspirations vis a vis present state of Muslims all over the world, would have been right approach.
